The idea for Movie Baker was born in the minds of the Red Noses team as a response to the outdated practices of the audiovisual industry, particularly in pre-production and project management. On one hand, the AV industry delivers incredible technological solutions in camera, sound, and lighting that are used worldwide. On the other, most communication and preparation still rely on Excel spreadsheets. Years in the industry made us realize that it’s time for a change – and time to set a new standard. Movie Baker is a versatile application supported by artificial intelligence that makes project management in the audiovisual industry simple, fast and effective. We created it with the dynamic needs of creators, producers and film crews in mind - because we know how important time, budget and efficient organization are.

Our team
Founders
We come from different backgrounds, although we know each other well. Salvatore with his company Mero Productions joins international forces of the industry from all over Italy throughout many European cities up to Kraków, Poland, where in 2019 Red Noses Production House was founded with among others Tomasz Smykalski.
Since then, the company has experienced exponential growth and every month acquires new clients, larger projects both from private entities and the public sector from Poland and abroad. At the same time Edyta Żmudzka joined the Movie Baker team as a UX/UI designer.

Tomasz Smykalski
Tomasz Smykalski has 15+ years of experience as a theatre, film, and advertising director and producer, and since 2015 has also run a casting agency. In Movie Baker, he is responsible for application logic, financial strategy, and advertising.

Salvatore Allotta
Salvatore Allotta has 15+ years of experience as a cameraman and producer, running his own production house in Palermo, Sicily. In Movie Baker, he is responsible for core development and technical implementation.

Edyta Żmudzka
Edyta Żmudzka has 15+ years of experience as a graphic designer and media designer, working with institutions like Warsaw Chamber Opera or Polish History Museum. In Movie Baker she is responsible for UX/UI product design and administrative sector.

Developer
Marcos is working as a second developer with Movie Baker in 2025 assigned by CPIFP Los Enlaces Zaragoza. He is developing the next modules and other related features.
